The Challenge

The distribution centre faced significant inefficiencies in its planning and reporting processes, relying heavily on outdated SQL statements to extract data, which was then manually copied into spreadsheets. This labour-intensive approach was prone to errors, time-consuming, and lacked real-time visibility, leaving teams disconnected from critical insights. The absence of a unified, automated system hindered the ability to monitor operations effectively, making it difficult for the business to respond swiftly to changing demands or optimize performance across the board.

 

The Solution

Pangaea Analytics replaced the legacy SQL-and-spreadsheet-based processes by building a suite of MicroStrategy dashboards that provided real-time visibility into operations, enabling everyone in the business—from planners to executives—to see exactly what was happening at any moment.
